cover relation（常见于偏序/格论中）指“覆盖关系”：在一个偏序集里，若元素 (x>y)，并且不存在任何元素 (z) 使得 (x>z>y)，则称 **(x) covers (y)**，也就是说 (x) 与 (y) 之间是“紧挨着”的上下级关系（中间没有别的元素）。
